Some are born genuises, also unfortunately some are not. When ordinary people do or say foolish things it’s easy to let it slip. It’s a different case for celebrities thought. Ah, the cost of fame. Everything they say or do is being watched or stalked by people around the world and let’s not forget those hawkeyed paparazzi. Celebrities are people too, they do foolish things. But when they do, the whole world will surely know about it. Here are the 15 not to so smart celebrities we’ve had to deal with.
Alec Baldwin was reported to have said some harsh words to a paparazzo and was caught on camera. He tweeted a different story but then Rich Ferraro from the GLAAD organization told that the celebrity said an anti-gay epithet and he quickly apologized. Let’s also not forget the issue with the flight attendants. All eyes are on you.
The clueless Kutcher tweeted about Joe Paterno’s ignoring of the abuse of minors, and said, “How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste.” He may have missed the news or something because people around the world with access to the internet or TV already knew that Paterno was fired and admitted that he knew what was going on. Major fail.
The heartthrob singer has done a lot of things that made us doubt his intellectual capacity. In the MTV Video Music Awards way back in 2013, Miley Cyrus called Justin foolish and gave him some advice. She was probably talking about him peeing in a bucket. Obviously not the smartest thing to do.
Wonkette called Duggar the “m” word when he said, “I think that right now in America there is an agenda to silence people of faith, those who hold dissenting opinion. That’s not what America was founded on. America was founded on respect. Tolerance. And really not discriminating against people based on their religious convictions.” Then he was caught at a cheating scandal and is is going to spend the next six months at a Christian rehab treatment program at Reformers Unanimous. Oops.
Someone asked him, “What does it feel like now to have a hood pass?” He said, “I can’t really have a hood pass. I’ve never walked into a restaurant, asked for a table and been told, ‘We’re full.” Not really the most modest answer. He was also bashed for using a racial slur in the interview. But then, he tweeted and regretted what he said. Careful there now. Nobody likes an arrogant person.
Straight from her mouth, on her show Brook Knows Best. “You know what? I am actually not that much into voting. I think it’s kinda crazy that a woman is running, because I think that women deal with a lot of emotions and menopause and PMS and stuff. Like, I’m so moody all the time, I know I couldn’t be able to run a country, ’cause I’d be crying one day and yelling at people the next day, ya know?” She may have partied too much last night.
We couldn’t count the numerous memorable quotes of Britney Spears. But here are some not so impressive ones. “I do believe in the sanctity of marriage. I totally do,” after her 55 hour marriage to Jason Alexander. Then there was the time she didn’t want to go to Japan. “I’ve never really wanted to go to Japan, simply because I don’t like eating fish and I know that’s very popular out there in Africa.” She might have been hit too hard by her baby.
New York Times reported, “Even though the actress Gwyneth Paltrow had created a best-selling cookbook and popular lifestyle blog, Mayer, who habitually asked deputies where they attended college, balked at hiring her as a contributing editor for Yahoo Food. According to one executive, Mayer disapproved of the fact that Paltrow did not graduate college.” Ouch. Guess you can’t use your celebrity status on everything.
She once said, “So, where’s the Cannes Film Festival being held this year?” Luckily for her, E! Online found that Rita Ora wore a feathery outfit that was similar to Aguilera’s Versace red carpet look from 2010. Get that exposure! Saved by the bell.
The outspoken Ozzy said on The View, “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump? In the sense that…you know what I mean? But I’m saying that in L.A., they always…” It was so bad that Rosie Perez walked off the set and was not seen for the remaining shows. Ooh, really, really bad.
Well, Paris is well-known for almost everything except being smart. It only shows that you really can’t have everything. In an interview with VH1, she said, “There’s much more to life than all of these possessions and everything. And if you want those things, you’re going to have to work yourself, just like I did,” said Hilton. Hmmm, it could be the adult video she filmed or the DJ gigs. What work?
One time she said, “It kind of irritates me that I’m seen as this pretty face. People also say I’m too thin. The truth is, pretty people aren’t as accepted as other people. It comes with all these stigmas. It’s like, ‘She’s pretty and thin, so she’s got to have problems. She must be anorexic or depressed or bitchy.’ It doesn’t help that my OC character is the pretty girl next door who looks like she has everything, but is totally f up.” She may have issues.
She was the loveable drummer in Josie and the Pussycats, but what happened after that? According to Hollyscoop, she said, “I make Jessica Simpson look like a rock scientist.” Daily Mail called her “painfully thin” in a recent outdoor pic. Atleast she’s not afraid to tell the truth.
Here are a few of his tweets and you be the judge. “We need to stop teaching the youth about the past and encourage them to change the future… There is no nutrients in our food anymore or in our soil our in our water… If everybody in the world dropped out of school we would have a much more intelligent society… If newborn babies could speak they would be the most intelligent being on planet Earth.” Hey, Will what are you feeding your son?
1. Farrah Abraham
In an interview, Abraham was asked if she considered herself a feminist. She replied, “I’m pretty feminine. I think so.” The interviewer replied, “Not feminine — feminist.” Then she answered, “What does that mean, you’re a lesbian or something? What context are you saying it in?” Then they explained the complicated concept to her. Beauty is indeed not everything.
Now, now let’s be nice and remember that these celebrities are people too. Although the foolish things they say and do will be forever immortalized by the media. Maybe a little brain exercise will do them good, too.
