Where Are They Now? Cast Of Sabrina The Teenage Witch

Just about every 90’s kid would be glued in front of the TV on Friday nights to catch Sabrina the Teenage Witch. ABC’s T.G.I.F. lineup meant viewers were going to be entertained with an interesting two-hour block of programming.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch initially started in Archie comics. A movie soon followed, and then the television series hit the airwaves and became an instant classic. The 90s sitcom has since become a staple in pop culture, and is still beloved by fans today.

Let’s take a look at what some of the stars from the hit sitcom have been up to since the series ended 15 years ago.

12. David Lascher

David Lascher’s character, Josh Blackhart, became Sabrina Spellman’s love interest during the last few seasons of the series. David Lascher hasn’t done much acting since Sabrina the Teenage Witch ended back in 2002. He does, however, still keep in contact with a few of his former castmates.

11. Alimi Ballard

Alimi Ballard was the infamous Quizmaster whose real name was Albert. The Quizmaster’s job was to make sure Sabrina was prepared for her role as a witch. Since Sabrina, Ballard starred in Dark Angel,  Numb3rs, CSI, and most recently, ABC’s The Catch. He’s also had a few guest-starring roles on Castle, Drop Dead Diva, and Rizzoli & Isles.

10. Nick Bakay

Nick Bakay was the voice behind Sabrina’s beloved cat, Salem Saberhagen. Salem often gave Sabrina words of wisdom and encouragement. Nick Bakay has had recurring roles on King of Queens and That 70’s Show. Bakay even co-wrote Paul Blart: Mall Cop and  Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 alongside Kevin James.

9. Martin Mull

Martin Mull was the quirky and hilarious Principal Willard Kraft at Sabrina’s high school. Mr. Kraft was also a romantic interest for Sabrina’s Aunt Zelda. Mull has had a successful career after Sabrina. He’s had starring roles on Danny Phantom, Two and a Half Men, and most notably, as Gene Parmesan on Arrested Development.

8. Caroline Rhea

Caroline Rhea starred as Aunt Hilda, Sabrina’s quirky and easygoing aunt, and the wild sister of Zelda. Hilda’s antics often led to some trouble and mischief. Rhea went on to have her own syndicated talk show, The Caroline Rhea Show. She hosted The Biggest Loser for two seasons and was the voice actress for Linda on Disney’s Phineas and Ferb.

7. Beth Broderick

Beth Broderick was Sabrina’s smart, and probably the most responsible aunt, Zelda Spellman. Beth Broderick has starred in a variety of films and TV shows since Sabrina the Teenage Witch concluded, such as ER, Under the Dome, The Closer, and as Kate’s mother in the hit series, Lost.

6. Soleil Moon Frye

During the college years of Sabrina, Soleil Moon Frye was introduced as Roxie King. Roxie was Sabrina’s roommate, and was a rebel and a free-spirited character. In 2011, Soleil Moon Frye released the parenting self-help book, Happy Chaos: From Punky to Parenting and My Perfectly Imperfect Adventures in Between.

5. Elisa Donovan

Elisa Donovan played Sabrina’s other roommate during the college years, Morgan Cavanaugh. She was the cool, fashionable party girl, and was always looking for a great time. Donovan hasn’t really done much acting since the show ended. She’ll always have her mark in pop culture as Morgan Cavanaugh from Sabrina and Amber from Clueless.

4. Jenna Leigh Green

No great teenage TV show is complete without an annoying arch-nemesis. Libby Chessler, portrayed by Jenna Leigh Green, was the token mean girl, whose life goal was to make Sabrina miserable. Green has starred in other shows such as Bones, ER, and Ghost Whisperer. Aside from acting, Green also has a career in theater. She starred as Nessarose in Wicked.

3. Lindsay Solane

Lindsay Sloane’s character was Sabrina’s best friend and partner in crime, Valerie Birkhead. Sloane has starred in a few films that are now a staple in pop culture such as Bring It On, She’s Out of My League, and Horrible Bosses. The actress also had a few minor roles in hit shows such as Weeds, That 70’s Show and How I Met Your Mother.

2. Nate Richert

Nate Richert was a heartthrob for many Sabrina fans. Richert was Sabrina’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Harvey Kinkle. Since the show ended, Nate Richert has left the acting world behind and is currently focusing on launching a music career. In 2012, he released an album titled, Halogen Moon.

1. Melissa Joan Hart

Melissa Joan Hart portrayed the role of the show’s title character, Sabrina Spellman. Since the series ended, Hart continued acting a few made for TV films and guest star roles. The actress even starred in her own series on ABC Family alongside fellow child star, Joey Lawrence, which ran for four seasons.

Many of the stars from Sabrina the Teenage Witch continued to have successful careers in the entertainment industry. Most of the actors either stuck with acting or ventured off to different avenues of the Hollywood business.

Others, however, opted to step away from the limelight since the series ended, to most likely live a normal and quite life.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch and its phenomenal cast members are a perfect depiction of what kids in the 90’s enjoyed watching and how they liked to be entertained.

Hopefully, as the series approaches its 20th anniversary since the airing of the series finale, a special cast reunion will take place to bring back that 90’s nostalgia.
